NAMIBIA CONSUMER PRICE INDEX - (NCPI)
The monthly inflation rate for June 2012 was estimated at -0.2 percent, compared to the May 2012 rate
of 0.2 percent. This decrease resulted from monthly decreases recorded in the following categories:
Food and Non- Alcoholic Beverages (-0.6 percent), Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco (-0.2 percent) and
Transport (-0.2 percent).
The All Items Index for June decreased by 0.4 percentage points from 191.7 in May 2012 to 191.3.
